AYM operates in accordance with rules issued by the Government of Oman, AYM HSE Policies and HSE Management System. AYM is adamant about creating safe workplace. We strive to accomplish this by growing a work culture that focuses on shared accountability, leadership and effective risk management. All staff and site personnel are trained for hazards and effects management at work place, all hazards will be assessed with brainstorming sessions involving Project Manager, Project Engineer, HSE officers, Engineers Supervisors & Foreman including input from the work force. Hazards will cover office, Site & Work shop and it will be reviewed regularly and will be communicated to all through tool box meeting and during training session. The teams are well maintained & properly trained to deal to tackle all situations. We believe that HSE is an integral part of our business performance and sound HSE management will contribute to the long term business success. HSE policy will be communicated to all employees and interested parties. We do periodic visit to all work sites to review the safe work practices and to promote philosophy among work force to refuse to carry out works which we consider unsafe.
AYM firmly believe that all accidents are preventable and we will strive to achieve a “zero” LTI record. The employees are screened for abuse of drugs and alcohol shall be capable of accomplishing all tasks assigned to them.
